1.0 Delivery
1.1 Your credit card will not be charged until the day we ship your goods.

1.2 Where an incorrect address has been given to eXpansys with the order we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred.

2.0 Returns and Warranty Information
2.1 For help setting up your merchandise or installing software please contact the technical support department of the manufacturer, or visit our technical forum.

2.2 eXpansys USA must test all returned products before we can issue a refund or exchange any products. This is necessary so we are able to file claims on defective or damaged goods with the manufacturer or the shipping company.

2.3 If your goods arrive defective or in a damaged state, email returns@expansys-usa.com with your order number and a brief explanation of the situation. You will be emailed the steps for completing the exchange. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 48 hours of delivery - claims will not be accepted after this time. You have 15 days to report defective goods. After 15 days, you MUST contact the manufacturer to redeem your warranty, please do not contact eXpansys USA.

Although eXpansys offers a 15 day return policy for most products, we are restricted from returning certain items ourselves. These items will be supported via the manufacturer warranty from the date of sale and include the following: Jabra, Jawbone, and Motorola. eXpansys will not accept returns on these items, except in the event of a damaged shipment claim.

Please note that you MUST have an RMA # prior to returning your product.


2.4 If you are shipped an overage/shortage or incorrect goods in comparison to your invoice, eXpansys will pay the shipping costs to fix the error. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 48 hours of delivery - claims will not be accepted after this time. Email returns@expansys-usa.com with the order number and a brief explanation of the situation. You will be emailed further instructions.

2.5 If the goods are NOT defective and you wish to return them you have 15 days from when the package arrives to return the goods for a refund between 75% and 100% depending on the condition of the returned items. You will need to email returns@expansys-usa.com with a brief explanation of the situation. A refund will be provided within 30 days after the merchandise is received at our warehouse. You will not be refunded the delivery costs. Any returned software that has been opened will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

2.6 If you do not receive an email response within 2 business days, you can email amo@expansys.com or call 309.820.7913 to report your case.

2.7 Special order items are NOT eligible for return. Please contact a sales associate for details at 1.800.675.2638.

3.0 Sales Tax
3.1 Sales tax includes GST, PST, brokerage fees, duties and other import fees. We pay these charges to the Canadian government to allow our customers to receive a clean delivery.

3.2 If desired, the customer can pay for the import fees themselves upon receipt of their package. In order to do this the customer will need to contact our call center when placing the order.

3.3 For all countries outside of the EU, for example USA, Switzerland or Taiwan - no VAT is charged.

3.4 Our office is located in Illinois, we are obliged to charge sales tax for orders within this state.

3.5 Many countries charge duty and or taxes on goods at the point of import, these will normally be collected by the courier used to deliver the goods - this is a charge levied by your government not by eXpansys and we have no control over it. THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THESE ADDITIONAL COSTS.

4.0 Privacy
4.1 We do collect the information given at the time of your order. This information is not disclosed to any third party and is collected by eXpansys Limited.

4.2 We aim to offer a top quality service at the best price possible, to do this we need to reserve the right to change the above policies at any time.

4.3 All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998

4.4 If you wish to opt out of any postal marketing please email your details to

4.5 We can provide a full schedule of all information collected on an individual for a fee of £10.00, we will require significant proof of identification. In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 the information will be provided within 40 days of required level of identification.

5.0 Security
5.1 On order processing pages we use a 1024bit certificate.

5.3 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.



6.0 Pricing
6.1 While we make every attempt to ensure the prices on our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price in exceptional circumstances. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order.

6.2 If an order is placed for an item with an erroneous price, and the erroneous price is less than the cost price of the item, we reserve the right to offer to process the order at cost price or the the opportunity for the customer to cancel the order.

6.3 Prices on orders for out-of-stock or pre-release items are valid for one week after the order is placed. If the price changes when stock becomes available customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order.

6.4 Expansys will honor requests for credits on price drops that occur within 5 working days of the original invoice date. Price drops beyond this date will not be matched.

6.5 In the event of payment default the customer will be responsible for all of eXpansys' cost of collection, included but not linited to court costs, filing fees and attorney fees.

7.0 Business Customers
7.1 If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes, we shall not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits, (whether direct or indirect) data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.

7.2 If you have a credit account with us payment is due 30 days after the date of our invoice and we may charge interest for late payment calculated daily at 4% above Royal Bank of Scotland base rate both before and after judgment. If the customer is late in payments eXpansys may suspend further shipments until payments are received.



8.0 General
8.1 We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.
